                                                                                  Sexual Misconduct Policy

Purpose and Scope

Beta Gamma Nu strives to be an inclusive part of our collegiate communities. As mature, responsible Fraternity men, it is incumbent upon us to conduct ourselves in the most respectable manner. The purpose of this policy is to support the Fraternities position of zero-tolerance for any form of sexist or sexually abusive behavior on the part of its members, whether physical, mental or emotional. Engaging in any sexual activity without first obtaining affirmative consent to the specific activity constitutes sexual misconduct and is a violation of this policy, whether or not the conduct violates any civil or criminal law.

(2) Members are prohibited from engaging in any actions, activities or events, whether on Fraternity premises or an off-site location which are demeaning to women or men, including but not limited to verbal harassment, sexual assault by individuals or members acting together.
